Safeguarding Responsibilities and Professional Practice.

MH Yoga & Coaching is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at all times. Safeguarding underpins all work delivered within schools, alternative provision and organisational settings.

All delivery is non-therapeutic, skills-based and boundaried. Sessions focus on practical movement, breathwork and regulation strategies and do not involve emotional processing, disclosure work or counselling.

When working within schools and organisations, MH Yoga & Coaching operates in line with:

  • statutory safeguarding guidance

  • host organisation safeguarding and behaviour policies

  • professional standards of conduct and boundaries

The role of MH Yoga & Coaching is to support regulation, focus and behavioural stability, not to replace or replicate pastoral, therapeutic or safeguarding functions within the setting.

Any safeguarding concerns arising during delivery are passed immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or appropriate senior staff, in line with the host organisation’s procedures. MH Yoga & Coaching does not investigate concerns or manage disclosures independently.
